Women Training and Empowerment Project – Sada’ah Governorate

During November 2017, Al-Ekram Foundation held the first phase of a training course for 7 staff working at the Foundation’s office in Sa’ada Governorate in the manufacture of incense, perfumes and soap as a first step for economic empowerment.
In the second phase of the project, a training course was held for (18) women who supported their families, and they were trained in the manufacture of perfumes, incense and soap, and after the completion of the training, raw materials were distributed so that all the trainees could start their own project. This project comes in the interest of the Foundation to implement the sustainability of the project and implement its desired objectives. In the third phase of the project, food baskets were distributed to the trainees to encourage them to participate in the training and start their own project.
