Emergency relief project for food basket distribution – Saada Governorate

In light of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen in general and Sa’ada Governorate in particular, Al-Ekram Foundation carried out Ramadan food basket project to alleviate the suffering as a result of the conflict. The project distributed 1500 food baskets according to humanitarian relief standards to 1500 HHs of the conflict affected HHs and IDPs in Sahar, Razih, Sa’ada, Haidan, Munabbih, Saqeen, Al-Safra, Majz, Baqim, Kataf, Ghamr, Qatabir, Al-Zaher, Shada, and Al-Hashoah districts, Sa’ada Governorate. The project based on the field survey, need assessment and reports of the emergency committee. The project was implemented during May and June 2016 with self-financing from the Foundation.
