“Honoring the Earth Project phase2” -Saada Governorate

Al-Ekram Foundation implemented the ” Honoring the Earth 2″ project in April 2017, where the project consisted of reclaiming more than (56,000 square meters) of agricultural land in Haidan district, Zu’ib Al-Sufla sub-district, and preparing these lands for agriculture and for the reception of the maize season. The project targeted the most vulnerable families who could not pay the costs of land reclamation and was lasted for two months. The desired results of this project were achieved, as more than 30 families will reach self-sufficiency at the end of the maize season.
The project also included an awareness campaign on the need to pay attention to the maize season and to agriculture for the self-sufficiency of families.
